The Purpose of The Dooher Institute of Physics and Energy, Inc., a non-profit Delaware corporation, is threefold;

  • To apply the principles of physics to technological problems in order to arrive at solutions which can be widely applied to benefit society and lead to the development of new technologies.
  • To research ways in which sources of energy can be used more efficiently, more economically,and in a manner which creates a minimum of adverse environmental impact on the earth's ecosystem.
  • To develop educational techniques which will enhance the public's understanding of the role of the laws of physics in everyday life, encourage students to apply themselves to the study of physics and other sciences, and provide a framework for evaluating technologies that have significant societal impact such those used for energy production and environmental control.
